Hunt for rapist continues
DETECTIVES are still hunting a rapist who attacked a 26-year-old woman, close to police HQ in Durrington last week.
The victim had been on her way home alone at midnight on August 8 when she was grabbed between East Tyne and Durrington Lane.
Officers have put up a police board close to the scene, near Centenary House, appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
The attacker is described as white, of a medium build, wearing a long sleeved, dark T short and possibly dark tracksuit bottoms.
