Horsham second most desirable market town

The quaint charm of the town has attracted national recognition, courtesy of The Times’ list of the top 15 market towns in Britain.

Horsham was ranked second on the national newspaper’s prestigious list, with only Bridport in Dorset listed as a more attractive alternative.

In its summary of the town, The Times offers an insight into what makes Horsham great.

East Street’s evolution into a regional culinary hotspot has not gone unnoticed, with Horsham’s ‘flourishing gastro scene’ celebrated.

The report also notes that the town is attracting a younger crowd, with first-time buyers opting for Horsham over London, and praises its strong rail links to the capital.

It adds that a two or three-bedroom cottage costs between £350,000 and £500,000, and semi-detached town houses from £500,000 to £650,000.
