Horsham companies flood to the aid of mother’s dying wish

Businesses and organisations have flooded to the aid of a fund raiser with an aim to send a family to Disneyland after the death of their mother.

Lucy Jenkins, who grew up in Arunside, Horsham, died at the age of 25, on Sunday (February 16) after suffering from a brain tumour.

Her friends and family set up a fund raising page called “Lucy’s Last Wish” on Facebook and have been holding events to raise money to send Lucy’s husband and children to Disneyland.

Organisations from in and around Horsham included: Jessops, The Ironing Shop and Helping Hands Domestic Cleaning, Oodles’n’Allsorts, A Smooth Soothe, Flowers by Rachel, My Secret Sparkle, Sparkles Cleaning, Susy Radio, Crafted by Bella, Rotary Club, Cupcakes by Layna, Tesco and Fashion4Legs.

Many of these organisation are small, independent businesses.
