Horse rescued from ditch in Plummers Plain
A horse had to be rescued from a ditch after it became stuck in Plummers Plain yesterday (Wednesday April 15).
The 15 hand high cob was in an upright position in the ditch off Warninglid Lane, when West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called at around 4.50pm.
Technical rescue unit officers rescued the animal using an all-terrain vehicle and animal rescue equipment.
The horse was taken back to its stable and left in the care of a vet.
