Holiday at Home at Beulah Baptist church

For the second year a Holiday at Home will be held at Beulah Baptist church.

This is designed for elderly people who are unable for various reasons to go away on holiday and takes place from August 18-22.

Church member Gerald Philpott said: "We have a total of 31 booked in for the week. Transport is provided where required and each day will include coffee, lunch and tea, guest speakers,activities and a mystery coach tour. A team of helpers will be on hand led by Mrs Marilyn Munnery who can be contacted on 01424 210071 if you would like further info.

"Last year proved to be a great success and for the helpers it was a real joy to see the expression on their faces, many of whom would not speak to a soul from one day to another."
