Horsham fun day to raise funds for Stand Up To Cancer

A Horsham charity is holding a special event to raise funds to fight cancer.

On Saturday October 20 the Cancer Research UK charity shop in East Street Horsham will be holding a ‘donkey fun day’ in aid of their ‘Stand Up To Cancer’ campaign.

Dolly and Louie (the two donkeys) would love to be visited outside the shop from 11am to 3pm.

There will also be a guess the teddies name game and fantastic raffle with prizes donated by Giggling Squid, Beauty Secrets, The Gallery and a beautiful homemade fruit cake made by a volunteer.

The telethon on Channel 4 for Stand Up To Cancer will be televised on Friday October 26 from 7pm.

Stand Up To Cancer is an annual fundraising campaign that brings the UK together to speed-up progress in life-saving cancer research. It funds research, which takes developments in the labs and accelerates them into brand new tests and treatments.
