Greene king backs down over Harveys
HARVEYS beer is coming back to the Lewes Arms.
Campaigners have won the battle to have the popular bitter reinstated at the pub and it should should be avaiable again by the end of next week.
Brewer Greene King has made a u-turn on the unpopular decison after a huge wave of public protest which meant a widespread boycott of the pub and a slump in sales.
Bosses at Greene King made the official announcement today (Friday) and told campaigners from the Friends of Lewes Arms at a meeting held the previous evening.
