Grant for Heathfield

GRANTS totalling £9,000 have been awarded to community partnerships in the Wealden area.

GRANTS totalling 9,000 have been awarded to community partnerships in the Wealden area.

Heathfield Partnership has been given a grant by the Wealden Revitalisation grant scheme for 1,125. The money will go towards the cost of three-poster size maps of Heathfield to help residents and visitors find their way around.

Heathfield Partnership is also receiving 1,075 towards the cost of producing PR items for local TV and press, along with an advertising campaign to attract more visitors to the Heathfield area.

The Mayfield multi sports project partnership has been given a grant of 2,000 towards the cost of completing the final phase of the scheme.

Crowborough Partnership has been given 2,000 towards the cost of drawing up a preliminary design of a community hall and its ancillary facilities and obtaining costings. A further 2,000 will go to the Crowborough Partnership towards the cost of resourcing a town centre one-stop facility for young people.
