Firefighters called to Eastbourne street

Firefighters have been called to an incident in Eastbourne this afternoon (April 22).

At least two fire engines were sent to the scene in Langney Rise at about 11.50am.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) said, upon arrival, there was no fire but smoke from overheated food.

No action was taken, ESFRS said, other than advice given from firefighters.
