Fighting tooth and nail to keep our hospital
WORTHING MPs Peter Bottomley and Tim Loughton were spreading the word about the "Keep Worthing and Southlands Hospitals" campaign at Worthing Hospital on Friday.
They have recently launched the website: www.kwash.org.uk, to help focus the campaign and encourage local people to sign a petition that will be delivered to the South East Coast NHS calling for no downgrading of services at Worthing Hospital.
The petition can be signed online.
Worthing West MP Peter Bottomley and East Worthing and Shoreham MP Tim Loughton were distributing paper copies of the petition, as well as talking to staff at the hospital, in a bid to make sure the health authority paid attention to the overwhelming local opposition it would meet should cuts at Worthing and Southlands be proposed.
