Cyclist hit by car in Bognor Regis

The incident took place in the High Street at about 11.45am yesterday (Tuesday, May 13) when the cyclist, a 22 year old French National who is on holiday, was in collision with a silver Ford car being driven by a local resident.

The cyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital in Chichester.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the incident to contact PC Dixon, Chichester Roads Policing Unit, on 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 655 of May 13.
