Tractors stolen

TWO TRACTORS have been stolen from a farm in Warnham, near Broadbridge Heath.

Thieves cut security chains and made off with the four and two-year-old vehicles overnight on Thursday November 3.

Police describe the tractors as red, one of a Siromer make, the other with a front loader fitted and neither holding a registration plate.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “The victims had been concerned for their security following a suspicious incident a while ago and had taken additional precautions.

“However the offenders were determined, cutting securing chains, overcoming immobilisation and even used the sides of a tipping trailer as a bridge over a ditch.

“On speaking to the victims it appears that a neighbouring farm may have had diesel stolen last night as well.”

The offenders have also snatched a wood chipper.
