Police in hunt for man after car stolen in Crawley Down

Police are trying to trace a man they want to speak to about the theft of a car in Crawley Down.

Officers say the vehicle was being used to deliver medication in Sandy Lane on June 9 when it was left unattended for about five minues.

A police spokesman said: “During that time another vehicle arrived and a man got out and into the car before driving off.

“A suspect was caught on CCTV and is described as a white man, 5’ 7”, with dark hair and wearing an all grey tracksuit.

Police want to speak to this man - do you recognise him?

“Anyone who recognises him, or who has any other information relating to what happened, is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 484 of 09/06.”
