Investigation after man discovered in hallway of Horsham flat

Police are investigating a possible burglary attempt of a flat in Bishopric Court, Horsham on Tuesday (March 24).

The occupant of the flat found an unknown man in the hallway of the property at about 5.15pm, police said.

The unknown man said he had seen someone run away from the flat before leaving. Police believe he was attempting to steal from the property, though no items were taken.

He is white, 5’7”, bald, of a scruffy appearance and he had a backpack with orange trim.
