Cyclist suffers broken hip in Reliant Robin incident

A cyclist has suffered multiple injuries after a collision with a three-wheeled car in Horsham.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident which took place at around 6pm on Tuesday February 12 in North Street.

The cyclist, a 63-year-old man from Horsham, suffered a broken hip, concussion, a large cut on his head and a cracked bone near his spine when he was involved in a collision with a green Reliant Robin.

He was attended to at the scene by several passers-by.

PC Ray Dalmon, of Sussex Police, said: “The cyclist suffered some serious injuries and we do need to speak to the driver of the car. Anyone who saw what happened is asked to please contact police on 101 quoting serial 1268 of 12/2 or email [email protected]
