Cannabis plants and cash seized in Selsey after police search property

Two people have been arrested after police seized cannabis plants and cash while executing a drugs warrant in Selsey.

Officers entered a property in High Street on Sunday (23 August) following concerns from members of the public around drug issues at the location, police said.

During the property search, officer seized a quantity of class A and B drugs - including cannabis plants - drug paraphanalia and cash.

A 22-year-old man from Selsey was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply both class A and B drugs and the production of cannabis, confirmed police.

A 27-year-old man from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply both class A and B drugs.

The pair have been released under investigation and enquiries are ongoing.
