Arrested Horsham detective’s bail extended
A DETECTIVE sergeant based at Horsham who was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in a public office has had his bail extended.
The officer was arrested on Thursday December 15 on suspicion of misconduct in relation to unauthorised access of information through the force systems.
He was suspended from duty after being interviewed by police.
An investigation is being conducted by the Professional Standards Department.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said the officer’s bail had been extended until March 7.
