Crews investigating cause of Ringmer garage fire

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were mobilised to reports of a fire on Green Close, Ringmer this morning.

Three appliances from Lewes and Uckfield and one officer attended the scene at 10:29 on March 1.

The fire, which had started in a garage, was extinguished by crews wearing breathing apparatus and using one hose reel jet.

Firefighters left the scene at 11:56 after damping down and they are due to return this afternoon to investigate the cause of the fire.
