A competition is open to design the front cover of the Brighton Fringe Family Guide 2015.

The new-look guide - an A5 booklet - will available in early March.

Young people under 18 are invited to submit their designs to be in with a chance of seeing their work on the cover of 80,000 copies of the guide.

The theme is 'It's Showtime!' and the closing date is Monday, January 12.

The successful artist will also receive a VIP pass to all children's events at The Warren, an award-winning venue, during Brighton Fringe 2015. Five runners-up will also be awarded two tickets each to a Brighton Fringe children's show of their choice.

The 2014 cover (pictured above) was designed by five-year-old Isla Whitfield.

Julian Caddy, managing director of Brighton Fringe, said: 'Brighton Fringe is all about giving opportunities to everyone to express themselves creatively and the cover of the family guide is a massive platform to showcase the talent of a young artist."

Entries should be drawn, painted or designed on A4-size paper, with the original being sent - along with a name, age, school details, plus a contact telephone number or email address, to: "It's Showtime!" competition, Brighton Fringe Ltd, 5 Palace Place, Brighton, BN1 1EF
