Conservative elected in Hurspierpoint and Bolney

Peter Griffiths has been elected as the member for Hurstpierpoint and Bolney.

Conservative Griffiths received 1275 of the votes with UKIP’s Ian Holt receiving 487.

Liberal Democrat Rodney Jackson received 341; Green Party candidate Michael Airey received 285 votes; Labour’s David Chalkley received 209.

The turnout was 32.89 per cent, with 7896 voters registered and 2597 votes cast.
