Community action day for Chichester estate

Volunteers from Seaford College and the Hyde Group spent yesterday lending a helping hand to Chichester residents.

The community action day at the Whyke Estate saw teams tackle tasks such as cleaning windows, washing cars, clearing gardens and litter-picking.

Support for the project was given by L&S Waste Management and Beaver Tool Hire.

Resident Kirsten Clark-Lyons said: “There are lots of people in need on the estate and projects like this can help them get on top of things. I just want to say thank you to Hyde and Seaford College for their help.”
