Choral Society’s crescendo finish

Battle Choral Society ended another successful choral year with a very relaxed social gathering at the lovely house of Chairman, Brenda Anson.

The rewarding year of choral singing, included music by Rossini, Vivaldi, Elgar and Brahms in the twice yearly concerts, and conducted by Musical Director John Langridge, with valued input from Chairman Louise Winter

Rehearsals start again on September 1st at 7.30 pm in the Memorial Hall, Battle with the glorious Requiem by Mozart being the main focus of attention.

However, a smaller section of the choir will be singing at a wedding in Herstmonceux in late July, and the full choir will support the St. Michael’s Hospice ‘Singathon’ on Saturday October 18th.
