Changes in primary schools

Mrs Reece stepped down at the end of the summer term according to David Pratt, chairman of Bexhill Consortium of Schools.

David Pratt, himself head at Little Common primary school, commented: "Pat Strickson is one of our experienced and trusted colleagues in the Bexhill group of schools. She was invited to go over and take up the reins at Sidley.

"When a head is moved over to look after another school, you have to be sure they leave a strong team to keep things in good stead at their own place. Fran Nayler is the deputy head there and she is now acting head while Mrs Strickson is at Sidley."
