Castle hosts medieval day

A host of interesting activities for all ages are planned from including pike drill, armour and costumes to try, and demonstrations of weaving and medieval medicine.

Visitors can also talk to an archaeologist, handle some medieval objects or throw balls at a friend in the stocks!

The event is from 10am to 4pm.
