Cancer Research coffee morning success

LITTLE Common Community Centre was a hive of activity last Thursday morning when the Bexhill and Little Common division of Cancer Research UK held one of its popular coffee mornings.

Many stalls did a bumper business selling homemade cakes, toys, books, stationery, cards, bric a brac and jewellery.

Regular attenders Mabs and Pete Thompson said they never miss a coffee morning as not only is it for a good cause but also because, "the coffee is really nice."

Assisting with the raffle, chairman Doris Boorman thanked her hard working team of volunteers for their help.

The next coffee morning will be the Christmas event, with Father Christmas in attendance, on November 24.
