This will provide Josh with the opportunity to gain an insight into what it would be like to be a sponsored rider and the £500 that goes with the award will help him to benefit from further specialised training over the next year. He will be the proud wearer of branded clothing as he competes over the next year, as will his horse, and he will report regularly on a blog the ups and downs of his riding year.

This is the third year running that KBIS have offered this Training Bursary and Josh is the 2016 Under 14 recipient. After producing an initial video to showcase his riding and past achievements, as well as plans for the forthcoming year, he had to write a blog covering what he has done over the last two months as well as a short piece on the importance of insurance.

The judges were particularly impressed by his blog and praised his writing style. He will now be writing monthly blogs which will be published by KBIS who will be closely following his progress over the coming year.
