Burglar flooded Worthing home

A MAN is suspected of deliberately flooding a house by breaking in and damaging water pipes.

The break-in took place at a home in Madeira Avenue, Worthing, between December 4 and on Wednesday, December 9.

The burglar then damaged plumbing at the home, causing water to flood the ground floor.

A man has been arrested and interviewed in connection with the burglary. He has since been released on police bail.
