Sad news: It saddens me to write that more people in our community have passed on. William (known as Bill) Cavalla, Geoffrey Grinstead, Carol Payne and Audrey Bullen all are people who have lived in Broad oak for many years and are known by many, if I am able I will pass on the funeral dates and times. I personally have never known a time like this; when so many have gone to their heavenly home in a relatively short space of time. Thankfully two weddings took place on Saturday, both couples are wished very happy and love filled long marriages.

The Parish Churches Magazine: is out for October 30p and has the month’s goings on. It is available in the shops in the village and the Churches of St George Brede and St Mary Udimore.
