Referendum: The Presiding Officer and Poll Staff from Brede Village Hall would like to thank the residents of Broad Oak and Brede for their kind comments and also the way they conducted themselves at the recent European voting. Over 1025 residents voted the highest recorded in any elections held in the Village. It meant staff were extremely busy at certain times during the day and it was appreciated that everyone was patient.

Friday 1 July: Yoga with Susan in Udimore Community Hall at 9.30am, WEA is at 11.30am.

Brede Farmers Market is from 10am – 12 noon in Brede Village Hall. This morning enjoy strolling through the hall looking for the unusual, or your regular items that can be found there. Then stop for a well earned coffee.

Brede Short Mat bowlers will be meeting at 7.30pm in Brede Village Hall

Saturday 2nd July: Baby Ballet Classes with Emma are in Brede Village Hall at 10am. The Brede Giants are open fro 10am – 4pm The Village Dance is at 7.30pm in Brede Village Hall for those wishing to do Ballroom and Sequence Dancing.

Sunday 3rd July: Church Services are as follows: Father Anthony White conducts the Mass service at 9.00 am in St Theresa’s Catholic Church on the old Northiam Road, if you need to contact the Father his number is 01424 773125

At St George’s Church the Sung Eucharist starts at 9.30am. All are very welcome. Father Martin can be reached on 01424 883408. The Church’s Website is http://www.stgeorgesbrede.org.uk

At 10.30am Mr David Hanson will be leading the service in the Methodist Church in Broad Oak today. The Reverend Peggy Heim is the Pastoral Minister and she can be contacted on 01424 422350.

Monday 4th July: The Guiding section meet in the small hall of Brede Village Hall; the Rainbows meet from 4.15- 5.15pm, they welcome girls aged between 5-7 years, the They have some spaces. Julie Piper can be contacted 01424 883464 or mobile 07863599537. The Brede Scout sections are all held in the Scout Hut Stubbs Lane, Beavers welcome Boys and girls from 6 years old they meet from 5.15pm to 6.15pm. Contact Cubs are 8-10½ years old and meet from 6.30 – 8.00pm there are also vacancies for children to join, the Contact is Colin Ward 01424 852413
