BREAKING NEWS: Worthing rape '“ Man arrested

POLICE have arrested a man in connection with the rape of an 18-year-old woman in Worthing on Friday, November 13.

The 20-year-old suspect was arrested last night (Monday, November 16) and is currently helping police with their enquiries.

Officers are still appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened on Worthing beach near the The Pier Nightclub on Worthing Pier around 2am on November 13, to come forward.

Anyone with information should call Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999, quoting Operation Wheatcroft.
