BREAKING NEWS: Man unconscious following town centre attack

A MAN was left unconscious by a town centre attack today (Wednesday, October 14).

It happened by the clock tower, in Littlehampton's High Street, just after 2pm.

The victim, believed to be in his mid 20s, was approached by a man, said to be between 18 and 20, and assaulted.

Although he was unconscious for about 10 minutes, he refused to be taken to hospital, and suffered a cut to his head.

The attacker was described as having short, fair hair, about 5ft 11in tall and wearing a short-sleeved red short. He was with two other man, both dressed in dark clothes.

The three made off towards Gloucester Road, through a twitten.

Anyone who witnessed the attack, or has any information, should call Littlehampton police in 0845 60 70 999.
