Body found in River Arun at Littlehampton identified
POLICE have identified the body of a man found in the River Arun last week.
Peter Cumper, 74, of Gladonian Road, Wick, was found near Rope Walk, Littlehampton.
A Sussex police spokesman said: “The cause of death has not yet been confirmed but there is no suspicion of foul play and the coroner’s officer is continuing her enquiries.”
Police, Solent Coastguard and Littlehampton lifeboats were called to the river at about 7.45am last Wednesday.
