Bodiam

THE Levetts Lane Residents Association was dissolved with effect from January 1 as no one came forward to take the places on the committee. A final extraordinary meeting of the association has taken place. More news soon.

February 21 will be a big day for Helen Dawson. Helen will be 90. She will not have a tent on The Green as it could be a bit cold for her. Lets hope she gets lots of presents to her home in Levetts Lane.

The next meeting of the parish council is on February 25, 7pm in the Parish Room, Bodiam.

The Sunday bus service will start on Good Friday. More news on this soon, but to keep this service, use it.

The pre-school is to have some open afternoons on February 26, March 8 and March 16. Come along and see the pre-school with outside area with views of the marsh and Bodiam Castle.

Tonight all roads to the Castle Inn for a quiz night in aid of the Bodiam Bonfire Night. £7.50 per person in teams of six, including supper. For more information phone 01580 830330.

Every six years a new church electoral roll is prepared. It is Bodiam Parish Council’s register of electors and you can attend and vote at the annual parochial church meeting. If you would like any more information, phone me on 01580 830211 and I will tell you how to get the form.
