Big tidy up in Arun

Residents can help clean up their community by taking part in the Big Tidy Up during September and Arun District Council is urging everyone to get involved.

Running for the whole month, the Big Tidy Up is a national campaign of ENCAMS, of Keep Britain Tidy fame.

The aim is to encourage residents to look after the environment around where they live.

Anyone can take part by registering at www.thebigtidyup.org for free.

Participants will get a start-up pack. Arun District Council will remove any rubbish collected for free.

Call Arun's clean and safe team on 01903 737500 ext 37428 before a Big Tidy Up event to arrange to take away the rubbish.
