Big-hearted estates agents in Bognor help children's charity CLIC Sargent

Big-hearted staff at Whiteheads estate agents are donating funds to CLIC Sargent for each home sold.

The estate agents, based on Aldwick Road, have chosen CLIC Sargent as their charity of the year.

The employees hope to raise more than 2,500 from the initiative which is enough to fund specialist breaks for two bereaved families. This allows them time to spend together and with others in the same situation.

Peter Fullegar, the branch manager, says: "We are aware of the fantastic work CLIC Sargent does with families affected by childhood cancer, who are going through such a difficult time.

"We felt we wanted to support a national cause which also works locally in our area. We find further motivation by knowing that every house we sell, the money we donate will go to help continue this great work."

Locally, CLIC Sargent funds a luxury self-contained caravan in Pagham where families can take a much-needed break away from a hospital ward.
