Two days of football and fun are promised on St Richard's Catholic College playing fields at Ashdown Road on September 22 and 23. The Saturday will be given over a five-a-side tournament for 12 to 16 year-olds.

The Sunday will see a tournament for those 17 and other.

Tabler Michael Tyrrell says: "The cost to enter per team is 25 unless you raise over 100 in sponsorship in which case entrance is free. For the 17+ it is 50 per team unless they raise over 200 of sponsorship for their free entrance."

The club is also seeking sponsorship for the event. To be a main sponsor will cost 300 in return for the sponsor's logo to be displayed in prominent positions around the pitches and event areas.

"You may also like to bring your organisation/business to the event in the form of an information point or stall selling your products or services. These stalls will be free to local charities."
