'˜Best ever' results day at College of Richard Collyer

Students at the College of Richard Collyer celebrated an excellent set of A level results today.

Principal Sally Bromley said: “We’ve had some fantastic results this year - the best ever.

“We’ve had a 99 per cent pass rate, we’re really really pleased.

“This is the first year of the new A Level qualification, so staff were working really hard to make sure students were prepared for their exams.

“We were a little nervous, but the students have done really well.”

Staff are expecting another excellent showing in the Sunday Times Schools Guide - the college was placed 19th in the country last year, up from 25th in 2014.
