Ashburnham and Penhurst village voice

There will be a Coffee Morning tomorrow, July 21 at Ashburnham Sports Pavilion, 10am - 12noon.

This is to raise funds to equip the Pavilion kitchen. Along with the teas and coffees will be some delicious cakes, a chocolate tombola and a produce stall. If you have any enquiries, please contact Gill on 892674 or Louise on 893976.

The next village book group session is at 2pm, Friday July 27. During the coming months we’re looking forward to books by J G Farrell and Tracey Chevalier among others. They typically end up talking about several books and all sorts of topics. If you’d like to join them call Nicky on 892474.

The East Sussex County Council Mobile Library service will next be in Ashburnham (by the chapel) on Thursday August 2, 16 and 30, 9.50am - 10.10am.

The next Coffee Morning is on Monday August 6 in the church hall, Ashburnham Place 10:30am - 12pm. You are welcome to go along for a good friendly chat. For further information, please contact Tina on 01424 843728.
