Alex prepares to take on the world
A SEAFORD Head Community College student is training for an internationally contested series of races in fast racing Laser dinghies.
Alex Mills-Barton is preparing for the competition known as The Worlds.
Jonathan Vernon, of Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club, said: 'The Olympics are often dominated by English crews and we often win in the Laser category. Alex is training in a Laser which is a category we do so well in so he is now in an Olympics standard boat and climbing the sailing ladder.'
