Headmaster Tim Manly said: “There has been a real sense of purpose about this year’s Upper Sixth and their hard work has been rewarded with some excellent results.

“I am particularly delighted for the seven students seeking to study Medicine (5) or Veterinary Medicine (2), all of whom have met their offers.

“Most of the year group have gained places at their choice of university and their final year at Hurst will have prepared them well for their undergraduate studies.

“It is a tribute to their ‘Hurst’ spirit, that alongside their academic work, so many have contributed so much to the life of the College during their time here, whether in the creative arts, on the sports field or in our wider community.

“They have been a truly delightful group and we will miss them but wish them well for the future.”
