A Level Results at Bexhill College

Students arrived early in the morning to find out their scores in exams which could go on to decide their future.

And the majority left happy as the college again celebrated another year of impressive results.

Initial suggestions are that the pass rate for students who completed all components of their A level courses is around 97.5 per cent.

The national average score is estimated at 96.9 per cent.

Students taking the BTEC National Diploma also enjoyed a strong set of results.

Bexhill college principal Karen Hucker said: "Our congratulations go to the students who have worked hard to achieve these results.

"We believe this pass rate will be above the national average for the 12th year in a row."
