Summer fair to support wildlife

A Pulborough couple are gearing up for their quintessentially quirky summer fair which will be held at the Knepp Castle Estate on June 1 and 2.

Their business The Floral Fringe Fair will brim with an eclectic range of all things local and will feature more than 80 stalls all in the name of supporting Sussex wildlife.

“What it’s about is my passion for persuading people to make their garden wildlife friendly,” explained co-owner of the fair Jean Jackman, who started the event with husband Steve last year as a big and memorable birthday present to herself.

The dog-friendly event will be hosting specialist nurseries, contemporary crafts, vintage collectibles, a medical herbalist, local food producers as well as experts on butterflies, honeybees, bumblebees, birds and bats.

The fair will be held between 10:30am until 5pm both days, entry £5 or £4 for pre-1975 vehicles. For more, email [email protected]
