Horsham town centre store delays reopening
A Horsham town centre store undergoing renovation has delayed its reopening.
Wakefields Jewellers, in West Street, said the refit hopes to create a ‘luxury’ shopping environment for customers.
But the works are still ongoing and the shop has now announced it will not reopen on April 12
A spokesman said: “To all of our wonderful customers, if you’ve visited Horsham town centre over the last couple of months, you may have seen that we’ve been undergoing an extensive refit in store at Wakefields.
“As you can imagine with a refit of this degree, there is still a lot of work that needs to be completed behind the scenes, so we will not be reopening on Monday April 12.
“We’re hoping to have completed our refit by mid-May and will share news of our official reopening date as soon as we can.”
The refit will bring ‘exciting new changes’ to the store, the spokesman said.
He added: “In the meantime, we wish all of the other retailers in Horsham the very best of luck with reopening and can’t wait to be able to open our doors alongside them and unveil our exciting new changes.
“We will still be offering our home delivery and click & collect services for those who wish to shop with us online, as well as being able to offer select jewellery and watch services from our on-site workshop.
“If you’d like to enquire about any of our workshop services, or learn more about any pieces of jewellery or watches you’ve seen online, you can get in touch with us by sending an email to [email protected] or by calling us in store on 01403 264001.”
