The East Beach Hotel on Royal Parade at the junction with St Aubyn’s Road has a price tag of £2.1 million and is being marketed by GPS Business Sales in Cornfield Road.

The hotel is described as a detached period building offering 32 en-suite guest rooms, two self-contained studios and a staff bedroom, as well as a luxury four bedroom private owners’ apartment.

The marketing literature says, “The property is beautifully presented throughout all four storeys including the basement, having undergone recent redecoration and updating.”

Last month it was revealed the neighbouring 84 bed Best Western York House Hotel was up for sale with an asking price of £5 million.
