CHELWOOD GATE: Cats Protection’s Summer Fun Day on Sunday, July 7. The centre in Chelwood Gate will be opening its doors from 10am until 4pm for a fun-packed day of activities for all the family. Topping the bill will be a special guest appearance from CBeebies star and kids’ favourite Sarah-Jane Honeywell who will officially open the event and meet young fans. There will also be many stalls and attractions including a bouncy castle, face painting, raffle, classic cars and VW campers display, live band and dance shows. ARTS: The Horsham Decorative & Fine Arts Society’s AGM will be held at the Capitol Theatre at 10.30am followed by their monthly lecture. The speaker will be Bertie Pearce. His lecture entitled ‘Now you see it, now you don’t’ will explore the art of deception, optical illusion, camouflage and trompe l’oeil. Visitors are welcome. Admission to the event is £5.
