HAYWARDS HEATH CERAMICS GROUP presents a talk on ‘The Romanov Legacy’ by Mr Raymond Notley, Lecturer Emeritus at Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London, covering the grand ceramics of all descriptions commissioned by the extensive Romanoff family from the Imperial Porcelain factory. Lecture takes place in the small hall at Clair Hall at 10.35am. Doors open at 9.45am with coffee being served until 10.20 am. ORCHESTRA: The Sussex Symphony Orchestra present a new residency at Holy Trinity Church, Cuckfield. Mark Andrew James (Oboe), Helen Beckingham (Bassoon), Jeremy Leung (piano). The SSO’s conductor, principal bassoonist and percussionist play Poulenc’s trio for oboe, bassoon and piano and sonatas by Saint-Saens, 1pm
