VIDEO: fatal accident on A24 near Southwater

A pedestrian died followed a collision with a car on the A24 near Southwater this afternoon (Saturday July 13).

The incident happened around 2pm on the southbound carriageway of the A24 near Horsham.

The road was closed between the Hop Oast and Southwater roundabouts for several hours but was re-opened at 5.15pm.

Any witnesses to this collision are asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Plumstead.
