NHS Retirement Fellowship - May 23
IN April we held our annual meeting for the election of officers and the chairman thanked the committee members and tea hostesses for all their good work during the past year, a report was given on the activities of the branch and the treasurer gave a very comprehensive financial statement. Members were asked for contributions and suggestions for the preparation of the forthcoming programme.
At the May 19 meeting, we will welcome Mr and Mrs Ludkin talking about their "experiences in China." Will it be an exciting afternoon?
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the NHS and an afternoon of celebration will take place at our October meeting. We are the local branch of the National Fellowship and anyone who has ever worked for the NHS is welcome to visit our meetings which are held on the third Monday in the month at the Bexhill Hospital Health Centre.
