Motorists travelling on the A272 near the junction of the A23 have spotted a ghostly signpost.

The signpost at the crossroads of Sponketts Lane, Bolney and the busy A272 has mystified drivers. Town and village names are just faint outlines and at first glance it now looks quite ghostly.
