Imogen Nelson, nine, has followed in her big sister’s footsteps to have her hair cut for the Little Princess Trust.

The charity provides real hair wigs for children with cancer to help them cope when they lose their own hair.

Imogen, a pupil at Storrington First School, had her beautiful dark locks chopped at Shampoo in Church Street, Storrington.

She said she wanted to help children with cancer and other illnesses, and she was nervous when they were cutting her hair but now she feels ‘helpful and pretty’.

Her sister Ciara, 12, had her own lovely mane cut 18 months ago.

She said: “I wanted to help children who aren’t as fortunate as me.”
